Collection: Nebraska Vote By Mail Registration

By now, we have run postcard campaigns in most of the battleground states. We are going into Nebraska in this campaign!

You may ask, “Why Nebraska?” and it would be a fair question. Nebraska has one competitive Electoral College vote, which may be the deciding vote for the Electoral College outcome, if the presidential election ends up being extremely close. Nebraska also has one competitive House race—in the same district as for the Electoral College vote. The state has an additional House race and Electoral College vote, but those are not competitive.

Perhaps even more importantly, though less well-known, Nebraska has a competitive U.S. Senate race between an independent candidate, Dan Osborn, and the incumbent Republican Senator Deb Fischer, who is very unpopular. Deb Fischer votes with Mitch McConnell more than 90% of the time. No Democrat is running in the race. A Democrat would have almost no chance of winning a statewide race as a newcomer in a state as red as Nebraska.

Nebraska is perhaps the only state on the 2024 Senate map where an incumbent Republican Senator could potentially be defeated. We simply can not let go of this opportunity. Very little attention is being paid to this race, and it’s a perfect opportunity for Blue Wave Postcards to step in and make a difference.

Please join us and inform voters in Nebraska of this Senate race, and urge them to to sign up to vote early by mail or in person.

Encouraging voters to sign up for mail-in voting is one of the most effective actions you can take at this stage of the election cycle. Voters are much more likely to cast their ballots if they can do so from the comfort of their own homes.

Postcards will start shipping (and be available for local pickup) on 8/12. Please complete and mail these postcards within 2 weeks of receiving them.
