Are you alarmed by the SCOTUS presidential immunity ruling? Are you alarmed by the addition of a young MAGA ideologue to the Republican presidential ticket? We are with you on that! There’s one thing we know for sure: too much is at stake, and we need to double down on our activism!

Michigan is a crucial state in this election year, with the Presidency, US Senate, and House majorities all hanging in the balance. In addition, there are crucial state house elections and two Michigan State Supreme Court elections, where Democrats hope to hold their majority.

In November, Michiganders must vote for democracy, the rule of law, women’s reproductive rights, clean air and clean water, and an economy that works for all.

Beginning in May 2023, Michigan voters can sign up for permanent absentee ballots, allowing them to vote from home in all future elections. We’re encouraging those who haven’t signed up to vote from home yet to sign up for permanent absentee ballots.

Encouraging voters to sign up for absentee ballots is one of the most effective actions you can take at this stage of the election year. Voters are much more likely to cast their ballots if they can do so from the comfort of their homes.
