Collection: Wisconsin Supreme Court Voter Mobilization Campaign

The Supreme Court election in Wisconsin, which is set to take place in 2023, is of immense importance and carries national implications.

The outcome of this election will determine whether the current 4-3 conservative majority in the Wisconsin Supreme Court will be maintained or replaced by a 4-3 progressive majority. If Judge Janet Protasiewicz, a progressive candidate, is elected, the new WI Supreme Court could reverse the extreme gerrymandering of congressional and legislative districts in Wisconsin, expand voting access, and make a ruling on the certification of the 2024 presidential election results. Additionally, the election could determine whether an 1849 law that severely restricts abortions, even in cases of rape or incest, will be upheld or not.

Given that this is an off-year special election, the outcome will depend on voter turnout. Therefore, in this campaign, we will focus on reaching out to progressive voters who need an extra nudge to cast their ballots.

We will start distribution on March 14.

The election day is quickly approaching on April 4th. Please complete and mail out the postcards within a week of receiving them, as we are timing the release of postcards for a coordinated statewide campaign.
