As you may know, Wisconsin is a key state for our country. Democratic Governor Tony Evers tells us he vetoed over EIGHTY bills (those tightening voter suppression and undermining public safety) passed by the Republican Legislature. He is also in a very competitive race - we need the safeguard of Governor Evers remaining in place to continue vetoing bad bills, and keep the Republicans from a veto-proof majority in the chambers.
We *must* re-elect the governor.
Critically, Wisconsin has a high risk for election subversion in 2024 and the Governor elected this year will certify the 2024 presidential election result: even more reason for us to protect the governorship this year. Furthermore, we have the best chance to flip the US Senate election in WI.
Currently, we are focused on getting out the vote in Wisconsin. Whether they have previously voted by mail, Wisconsin voters must request mail-in ballots every year. We are asking voters to request mail-in ballots for this year’s elections as soon as possible, so they will receive both primary and general election ballots and vote in both.
