When my husband and I saw Trump become the nominee for President of the United States back in 2015 we were devastated at the thought of him moving into our White House. The endless lies, allowing the Russians into our Oval Office, and he did nothing but watch millions of people die with Covid. Love letters from Kim Jung Un? It just tears me up inside. The idea that Donald Trump and his sycophants are able to maintain or gain any power at all in our government sickens me.
Then I heard about this Blue Wave postcard movement. It has provided me with the opportunity to do something about it rather than just feeling frustrated and powerless hoping for the best in November. I find postcarding therapeutic as have many of my friends.
I started out just ordering 100 card kits. Some friends learned of my postcarding and they wanted to join in. Now I have more than a dozen friends and we're growing! We all can hardly wait to receive our next postcard shipment. I am now ordering 2000 card kits!
We all feel that we are contributing to the success of the Democratic party and most of all, save our Country from the out of control Republican party. Also it gives us the opportunity to get together and talk about the latest political news, discuss, and sometimes debate, among like minded people. It feels good!!
